I also kind of wanted it to be able to cast Ancestral Recall and Lightning Bolt if anyone cast the spell triggering it, but I kind of feel like that would make the card too central to everyones attention and it wouldnt really be an effect that feels like it belongs to a 2/2 for 2

This isnt to say you cant run a deck using a Lhurgoyf as the win condition- Tarmogoyf is a classic bruiser and many of the others can be seriously terrifying in their own decks

Our hallmarks of victory are different

I play Rule of Law effects in most of my mono-white decks, so this card is a real boon in my creature-heavy decks

But as a JRPG character, Tifa may seem like an odd choice
